VIEILLE PEAU
Invited to take part in an art residency in South France, under the collective name 'Vieille Peau' with Héloïse Fleury and Damiane Prues. Creation of three embroidered pieces reflecting on the concept of beauty and richness of the "old", on the importance of finding interest in our elders' story for their empowerment and our own, of respecting their experience and passing it on to build our heritage - with a conceptual work of re-purposing. The pieces were exhibited at the DLKC workshop in Saverdun, along with a documentary film I edited about our journey.
